Family

I have three amazing children who have taught me more about who I am and life in general than I learned in my entire life before them. I marvel at how unique each of them are and aspire every day to be a better mother and role model to them. Taylor, my oldest daughter, recently graduated from Lake Forest College and has the gift of being able to make things happen. My middle child Hailey is in high school, is an amazing writer and a carbon copy of me. Spencer, my youngest, is in middle school, plays baseball and gives the best hugs.

Pet

I have three golden retrievers – the first, Bella, is a rescue who we absolutely adore and is, quite possibly, the best dog ever. Riley and Harley are English Cream Retrievers and sisters – we started out with just Harley but ended up with Riley also – they are inseparable!

Favorite Book

There are so many! I love to read, so it’s hard to pick just one, but I would have to say my most recent favorite is God Never Blinks: 50 Lessons for Life’s Little Detours by Regina Brett.

Favorite Movie

Sleepless in Seattle. My favorite line of all time is when Tom Hanks says, “Well, I’m going to get up tomorrow and breathe in and out all day. And then I will go to bed and get up and do that again.”

Hobbies

Love reading, gardening, photography and scrapbooking. Also love volunteering – my kids and I cook dinner once a month and serve around 100 people at a small homeless shelter in Denver.

Education

I graduated from Evergreen High School in 1985. Attended CU Denver for about a year before switching to Arapahoe Community College where I fell in love with Marketing because of an awesome professor, Jerry Thomas who wore bright red socks every day. Eventually went on to receive my Associates Degree and finally, after 11 years, received my BS in Marketing from Regis University after mailing my final paper on the way to the hospital to have my first daughter.

Born and Raised

I was born and raised in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. We moved to Colorado when I was 9 to the foothills and after living in the suburbs all my life, it was quite the culture shock to not have neighbors and be living on 2+ acres of land!
