Ideas To Help You Market Your Business During The Holiday Season

We put together some ideas to not only share with our readers but hope you find helpful during this very special time of the year.
Ways to market your business this holiday season
Giving Back
During the holiday season, it’s important to remember those less fortunate than ourselves. This is a perfect time of the year to host or participate in a toy drive and encourage your family, friends, and customers to do the same. Be sure and share your video and photos on social media and don’t forget to tag the charity you’re working with. Always ask them to share the post for greater impact to their organization.

Host a Party
Can you think of a better time of the year to host an event? We can’t either so here’s another idea you will enjoy while helping to grow awareness for you business.
Host an Open House and extend your business hours when possible. Invite local customers and other businesses to stop in to mix and mingle. More is always merrier, especially during the holidays, so get busy putting your guest list together and ignite some word-of-mouth marketing to help build solid partnerships.
Gift Guides
A great way to market your business during the holidays. Write a blog about gifts for moms, dads, grandparents, kiddos, pets, friends and more.
Some ideas to include in your gift guides include a few of your products and services but keep in mind that the best way to promote your business is not to sell at all. We feel strongly that it’s best to showcase items that are related to your industry.
- Gift Guide for Chefs (kitchen gadgets, recipes and dishwater)
- Gift Guide for the Pet Lover (toys, dishes, sweaters, gift certificate to Groomer)
Tips of the Day
Consider featuring a tip or product of the day on your social media feed. Fitness-related businesses can give an exercise of the day to fight off those excess holiday pounds. If you are a hair salon, consider posting current styles and trends to look and feel your best. Flower shops may want to feature a table centerpiece or perhaps a wreath featuring holiday colors, greenery and fresh flowers.
Go Behind the Scenes
And last but certainly not least, one of our favorite things to do with our clients is a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into setting up for an event, shooting a video and more.
This is a fantastic opportunity to show your customers what your business is like during the holidays with video marketing! People are curious and giving them a sneak peek of new products, styles, trends, ideas or simply some exciting behind-the-scenes action will set you apart from the competition.
We hope you find our favorite ways to have fun while promoting your business helpful. And in the spirit of the holiday season, please share this blog.
Happy Holidays!
